§ Mr. SHORTTMy right hon. Friend has asked me to reply to these questions. It is the intention of the Government to introduce Legislation for this purpose during the present Session, but I cannot fix a date at the present moment. A general Bill for the Amendment of the Factory Acts is in course of preparation by the Home Office, and it may be convenient to include the provisions in regard to night work in bakehouses in that Bill.
