§ Mr. PALMER asked the Postmaster-General whether he will grant a Return showing the number of private letter bags in use throughout the country at the respective rents of one, two, three, five, and six guineas, and the revenue derived on each scale?
§ Mr. ILLINGWORTH: There is no scale of rents such as described in the hon. Member's question. The charges vary according to the amount of service rendered and are described in detail in a leaflet which I will send to him. I will obtain information as to the number of bags rented, but it will take some little time to procure.
