§ Lieut.-Colonel HURSTasked the First Commissioner of Works whether he is aware that his office is still in possession of the lecture room of the Princess Christian College, Manchester; whether he will take steps to utilise in its stead one of the surplus huts under the control of the Disposal Board; and what reparation he proposes to offer for the great loss and injury sustained by the College in consequence of the action of his office?
§ Sir A. MONDMy Department is already in communication with the Ministry of Pensions as to the possibility of restoring the lecture room to the College, and I hope that the matter will be settled at an early date. It is 911W open to the College authorities to submit for consideration a claim in respect of any loss or damage which may have been sustained through the requisition of the lecture room.
