§ Brigadier-General SURTEES asked the Minister of Transport if he can give the number of motor lorries, motor cycles and similar power-driven vehicles still owned by the Government at various depôts; what is their total estimated value; how many vehicles have been sold during the past three months; what is the number of employed and their aggregate wages for the maintenance of such vehicles; and what amount of the money derived from the sales referred to has gone to the reduction of the National Debt, and how much has been devoted to revenue?
§ Mr. NEAL: Motor lorries, motor cycles and similar power-driven vehicles are neither operated or sold by the Ministry of Transport. I regret, therefore, I am not in a position to answer my hon. and gallant Friend's question.
