§ Captain CRAIG asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he is aware that, during Debates on the Home Rule Bills of 1893 and 1912, it was expressly stated by Ministers of the Crown that Irish model school teachers were amongst those classes of Irish officers who would, in the event of either Bill becoming law, receive compensation for disturbance in office, and that such compensation would be assessed on the same basis as for established civil servants; and whether, under the present Government of Ireland Bill, the existing Irish model school teachers are assured of a like security of their rights and interests?
§ Mr. HENRY: The answer to both parts of the question is in the affirmative.
