§ Major HAYWARD asked the Lord Privy Seal whether the concession granted before the War by the Turkish Government to the Turkish Petroleum Company for the exploitation of the oil of Mosul and Baghdad was in perpetuity or only for a limited time?
§ Mr. BONAR LAW: I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member for Stafford (Mr. Ormsby-Gore) on the 5th of July. As then stated, no period to the concession had been fixed when war broke out.
