HC Deb 07 July 1920 vol 131 c1473W
Mr. WIGNALL

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that, while quantities of prepared wallpaper are being imported from Germany, the wall-paper trade in this country is unable to obtain sufficient supplies of paper in consequence of the present restrictions on imports; and whether action will be taken to remove these restrictions in order that the wall-paper trade will no longer be at a disadvantage in competing with German imports?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

There are at present no restrictions on the importation of paper of any kind.
