HC Deb 30 April 1920 vol 128 c1593W
Lieut.-Colonel MOORE-BRABAZON

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether head schoolmistresses in the Royal Marine schools are still only entitled to a pension of 2s. per diem after 32 years' service under the Regulations of 1897; whether he is aware that the Army schoolmistresses have had their pensions increased as from 1st April, 1920, this increase being further applicable to those who have been awarded a pension since 1914; whether any similar steps are in contemplation with regard to the pensions of the Royal Marine schoolmistresses; and, if not, what is the reason for this differ entiation between the services, seeing that the Regulations have hitherto been the same?

Sir J. CRAIG

The matter is under consideration and the result will be announced as soon as possible.
