HC Deb 29 April 1920 vol 128 cc1431-2W
Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) when it is proposed to introduce the Supplementary Finance Bill dealing with the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Income Tax;

(2) whether, if no time is available before the end of the summer, a Revenue Bill dealing with the administrative recommendations of the Royal Commission on Income Tax will be introduced in an Autumn Session?

Mr. BALDWIN

As my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer has already stated, it is the intention of the Government to introduce the Revenue Bill as soon as he is in a position to do so.

Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the supplementary Finance Bill and the Revenue Bill dealing with the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Income Tax have yet been framed?

Mr. BALDWIN

The answer is in the negative.
