HC Deb 29 April 1920 vol 128 c1442W
Mr. STURROCK

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether he is aware that throughout Scotland a large number of business men are in danger of being turned out of their premises at the May terms without, in most cases, any alternative accommodation being available; and whether he can announce what policy the Government intends to pursue to prevent serious personal hardship and business dislocation in this matter?

Mr. MORISON

My right hon. Friend's attention has been called to the matter referred to, but I am not in a position to say more than was conveyed in the reply made on the 27th instant by my right hon. Friend, the Minister of Health, in reply to the hon. and gallant Member for Finchley (Colonel Newman).
