HC Deb 29 April 1920 vol 128 c1456W
Sir E. COATS

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the question of the right of British nationals to restitution under Article 297 (f) of the Treaty of Peace with Germany has been further considered; and what is the present position of the matter?

Sir R. HORNE

This question has been examined and the Government are now advised that they are entitled under the paragraph in question to claim restitution on behalf of British nationals of their property in Germany. The German Government are being informed that such claims will be notified to them. Any person desiring a claim to be put forward should communicate with the Reparation Claims Department.
