HC Deb 28 April 1920 vol 128 c1271W
Mr. T. THOMSON

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the total saving to the public in the prices paid for land acquired for housing and other purposes by public bodies owing to the assistance rendered by the Land Valuations Department in negotiating the purchase?

Dr. ADDISON

My hon. Friend has asked me to reply to this question. Up to the 1st March the total saving on prices asked for, or provisionally agreed, for housing land, as the result of the negotiations of the district valuers, was £1,095,834.
