§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. Nothing is known at the War Office regarding the committee referred to. Regarding the last part of the question, the retention of a small Military Mission in Siberia is consistent with the policy of the Allied and Associated Powers and the suggestion that the moral support which its presence gives is not welcomed by the Omsk Government and the majority of the Siberian people is without foundation.
