§ Mr. GILBERTasked the Home Secretary whether, in view of the fact that a Departmental Committee in 1909 made important suggestions for amendment of the law relating to coroners and coroners' inquests, and that the Coroners (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1917, and the Juries Act, 1918, will shortly cease to have effect, he proposes to introduce at an early date legislation to bring about amendments of the coroners' law?
