§ Mr. MONTAGUOfficers with temporary commissions in the Indian Service, to whom it is assumed that the hon. Member is referring, should if their service dates back to 1914 be returning in the course of the present month according to the Government of India's present demobilisation programme. In the case of officers serving at outlying stations delay is sometimes unavoidable.
