HC Deb 26 November 1919 vol 121 c1815W
MR. F. GREEN

asked the Home Secretary whether he has received any report of the proceedings at a meeting of the Irish Self-Determination League held at the Albert Hall on the 15th instant, and presided over by a Member of this House, at which disloyal and seditious speeches were made; and whether he will take steps to prevent the holding of such meetings in the future?

Mr. SHORTT

I have seen a report of the proceedings of the meeting referred to. I have no power to prevent the holding of such meetings.
