§ Mr. WARDLEI understand that Government Departments as a whole are at present employing considerably more than five per cent, of disabled ex-Servicemen. The present arrangements are necessarily to some extent of an interim nature owing to the fact that the staffs of Government Departments are much958W above the normal, but the nature of the permanent arrangements to be made for employing disabled ex-Service men in Government Departments is being carefully considered in consultation with the Treasury
