HC Deb 18 November 1919 vol 121 c386W
MR. HURD

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, in the bestowal of medals to Volunteers, it is intended to include those Volunteers who, being overage or medically unfit, undertook special duties such as the staffing of military hospitals and night and day hospital convoy work, which would otherwise have fallen upon the Royal Army Medical Corps, and were called up from time to time to undertake these duties; and when the decision of the Government will be announced?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given on the 3rd instant to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Epping (Brigadier-General Colvin).
