HC Deb 17 November 1919 vol 121 c650W
SIR WILLIAM BULL

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether the military masseuses have been refused a war gratuity, though it has been granted to all other hospital workers, and by the Red Cross to their masseuses; and whether, owing to the good work done by these masseuses for the wounded, he will see fit to reconsider his decision?

Mr. FORSTER

I have investigated this matter very carefully, and regret, that I cannot alter the decision not; to issue a war gratuity to these ladies.
