HC Deb 04 November 1919 vol 120 c1329W
Colonel YATE

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, in the event of a medal being sanctioned for service in Great Britain in connection with the Army at home, the grant will be extended to those officers and men of the Indian Army and officers of the Indian Army Reserve who were detained on duty in India during the War, and were consequently unable to see service abroad?

Mr. CHURCHILL

In the event of a medal for home service being approved, the claims of those referred to by my hon. and gallant Friend will not be overlooked.
