HC Deb 29 May 1919 vol 116 c1452W
Major HURST

asked the Secretary of State for War whether soldiers returning to England from Mesopotamia complain of the conditions at No. 1 Transit Camp, Port Said, particularly in connection with the process of disinfection and the dirty state of the iron tank in which they are bathed; and whether he will inquire into such complaints, with a view to their redress if well founded?

Mr. FORSTER

No complaints have reached the War Office, but a report has been called for, and I will write to my hon. and gallant Friend later.
