HC Deb 26 May 1919 vol 116 c872W
Lieut.-Colonel A. HERBERT

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether those natives of Turkey who have suffered during the War on account of their friendship for Great Britain will receive compensation?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

The question of compensation to natives of Turkey will presumably be decided by the Government of the State to which each individual claimant eventually belongs as a result of the Peace settlement.
