Mr. CHAMBERLAINSir George Gibb's present connection with the North Eastern Railway Company is in an advisory capacity only and does not preclude his full discharge of his duties at the Road Board. He withdrew his resignation of the chairmanship at the request of the Government who consider that it is not expedient that any change should be made in the administration of the Road Board pending the passage through Parliament of the Ministry of Ways and Communications Bill.
