HC Deb 04 March 1919 vol 113 cc242-3W
Mr. BIGLAND

asked the Pensions Minister what is the limit of income which debars the parents of an officer killed in action from receiving any pension; and whether, in the case of Mrs. C. Harper, of 30, Hill Road, Birkenhead, mother of Lieutenant J. Harper, killed in action 28th June, 1918, her pension has been cancelled, after two instalments had already been paid, on the ground that her total income amounted to £300 per annum, gross, before Income Tax was deducted?

Sir JAMES CRAIG

My right hon. Friend is making inquiries into this case.
