HC Deb 04 March 1919 vol 113 c243W
Mr. HOGGE

asked the Pensions Minister what arrangements are being made for the care of orphan children; and whether such arrangements are to be in the hands of a voluntary committee or directly under his own control?

Sir J. CRAIG

The arrangements are in the hands of the Special Grants Committee, who will provide for the children under Regulations to be drawn up by them and approved by my right hon. Friend. I may add that this delegation is expressly provided for by Section 9 (2) of the War Pensions (Administrative Provisions) Act, 1918.
