§ Brigadier-General CROFTasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether officers and men who are suffering from the effects of gas and are incapacitated by gassing to the same extent as if they had suffered wounds are eligible for similar gratuities and pensions as are granted to wounded officers and men?
§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSI have been asked to answer this question. As regards disability pensions and retired pay, the answer is in the affirmative, and my right hon. Friend the Financial Secretary to the War Office informs me that it is the same for wound pensions and gratuities.
