Lieut.-Colonel THORNEasked the Secretary of State for War whether the Government have considered the advisability, in consequence of the Peace Treaty being ratified by the German National Assembly, of releasing all political and military offenders or whether they will reduce the terms of imprisonment; and if he will take action in the matter?

Friend the Leader of the House in answer to the hon. and gallant Member for Central Hull (Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy), to the effect that after very careful consideration the Cabinet have decided not to adopt the course suggested.
