§ Mr. FORSTERI am not aware that surplus Army horses sold abroad are subjected to cruel treatment. On this subject I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply given on the 1st July to a question put by the hon. and learned Member for York (Sir J. Butcher), and to replies given on the 29th February and 5th March to the hon. and gallant Member for Rye (Major Courthope), and the hon. and gallant Member for North Hackney (Lieut.-Colonel Robert Green) respectively.
