HC Deb 27 February 1919 vol 112 c1984W
Captain LOSEBY

asked the Secretary of State for War, if he will consider the advisability of granting some special badge or distinction to soldiers who volunteered for and were liable for active service during the years 1914 and 1915 but did not actually visit a theatre of war?

Captain GUEST

The question of the medals or other distinctions to be awarded in respect of services rendered during the War is at present under consideration. It is hoped shortly to publish a comprehensive statement embodying the conditions of such awards.
