HC Deb 20 February 1919 vol 112 cc1207-8W
Mr. IRVING

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether, in view of the fact that on the West Coast of England and Wales all restrictions on yachting and pleasure sailing have been withdrawn, and there are no restrictions on entry to large ports such as Liverpool, he will forthwith cancel all permits to fish and allow fishing boats to carry on their avocation as in peace times?

Sir A. BOSCAWEN

Instructions were issued on the 8th instant to the effect that permits to fish were no longer necessary.
