Mr. CHAMBERLAINNo special standard for Excess Profits Duty has been allowed in the cases referred to. In computing, however, for purposes of Excess Profits Duty the profits of businesses carried on by surveyors and auctioneers, it is the practice of the Commissioners of Inland Revenue to distinguish between profits attributable to services of a purely professional character and those arising from other transactions.
