HC Deb 15 December 1919 vol 123 cc58-9W
Mr. G. DOYLE

asked the Secretary of State for War if any Russian officers are being trained and maintained in this country; and, if so, what is the annual cost of such training and maintenance and how long he anticipates such training to last?

Mr. CHURCHILL

A certain number of Russian officers are still being maintained in this country owing to the difficulty of securing the necessary transport. As soon as a ship can be obtained for the purpose they will be repatriated.
