HC Deb 15 December 1919 vol 123 cc62-3W
Mr. GILBERT

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions whether his Department has taken over the workshops that were established during the War at Richborough; if he will state for what purpose they have been taken over and if it is intended to employ any men there; and, if so, if he will state what trades will be employed there and the approximate number of men it is estimated will be wanted?

Mr. KELLAWAY

The answer to the first part of the question is, Yes, Sir. It is proposed to undertake certain repair work on railway wagons and locomotives, and petrol tractors, but I am unable to state at present what number of men and trades it may be found necessary to employ.
