Grants have been made from the Development Fund to the British Tobacco Growers' Society, a society registered as an association not trading for profit, amounting to £13,473 up to the 30th September last.

The names of the members of the committee of the socity are:

Advances from the Development Fund have also been made to the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction for Ireland sufficient to provide for a subsidy of £25 per acre per annum for a period of ten years in respect of areas cropped by certain rehandlers.
