HC Deb 11 December 1919 vol 122 c1662W
Mr. S. ROBINSON

asked the Minister of Labour why training as a shoemaker is denied to Mr. A. G. James, late No. H 129, private, Royal Engineers; if he is aware that this man, having served three years in the Army and had a foot amputated, is now unable to follow his old trade; and that, though training was provided for James by the Brecknock Committee, the Ministry declines to sanction this training?

Sir R. HORNE

Inquiries are being made into the case to which the hon. Member calls attention, and I will communicate with him further as soon as possible.
