HC Deb 11 December 1919 vol 122 c1658W
Mr. GRUNDY

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he can state the position of the various coal clubs that are held in Yorkshire, trucks being dispatched from the colliery on the 28th November, charged at the advanced figure, arriving for distribution on 8th December; and whether the clubs can claim any rebate for having to sell at the reduced price?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

Coal clubs which are registered as coal merchants will be compensated for loss incurred, as indicated in the reply to the hon. and gallant Member for Bury St. Edmunds on the 1st December.
