§ Mr. CHURCHILLNo question of rate of exchange arises in the case of regimental officers in Mesopotamia, as their pay is fixed and issued, in rupees. As regards Staff officers, whose pay is fixed in sterling, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply on Tuesday last to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Fareham.
