HC Deb 04 December 1919 vol 122 c631W
Lieut. - Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Minister of Health how many large houses in the London area have been converted into flats under the Housing Act to date; and how many more are in process of conversion?

Dr. ADDISON

Twenty-nine houses which will provide 146 flats are in process of conversion, and it is expected that work on eleven of these houses, providing fifty-five dwellings, will be finished this week. Two houses have been converted into five flats, which are already occupied. Plans have been prepared for the conversion of 166 other houses which will provide 595 dwellings.
