HC Deb 02 December 1919 vol 122 c242W
Mr. KILEY

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he can state the present whereabouts of Veterinary-Assistant R. R. Hayhow, No. 33541, formerly stationed on His Majesty's ship "Alexandria"; whether he is aware that this man was recently returned to this country from Russia, and that, according to information in his parents' possession, he is supposed to have been sent to Russia again; and can he say for how long it is the practice when men are returned from foreign service for them to remain at home?

Dr. MACNAMARA

Victualling-Assistant Hayhow is now serving in His Majesty's ship "Alexander." He has not been sent to Russia again. His ship has recently been at Scapa and Rosyth, and is now ordered to be paid off into reserve at the latter port. Unless required on His Majesty's ship "Alexander," this rating would be returned to his depot at Portsmouth to await further draft.
