§ Mr. BENNETTasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, seeing that, according to his recent announcement, the expenditure of the Government is still largely in excess of £4,000,000 a day, he will announce each week the average daily expenditure of the preceding week, in order that the taxpayers may be enabled to estimate the results of the measures taken by the Government for the reduction of outlay on the public services?
