HC Deb 14 November 1918 vol 110 c2902W
Mr. W. ANDERSON

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether the military authorities have taken over the Poor Law Institution at Pembury for the purpose of a motor training school; whether he is aware that other premises are obtainable; whether he is further aware that the premises serve various purposes, including a remand home for boys and a lying-in hospital for which no other accommodation is available; and if, in all the circumstances, he will reconsider the decision?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I am looking into this matter and will write to my hon. Friend as soon as I am in a position to do so.
