§ Mr. FORSTER:The recent changes in the scale of pay of officers introduced an overriding minimum of 10s. 6d. a day for second-lieutenants of all arms of the Service, with consequential changes in higher ranks. Neither in the case of ranks nor of arms is the proportion of the different rates of pay the same as it was.
