HC Deb 21 March 1918 vol 104 cc1204-5W
Mr. BYRNE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War if he will cause an inquiry to be held into the conditions of employment and rates of wages of women workers in Government employment in Dublin; if he will see that a living wage is paid to them; and if he will say when an increased war bonus will be paid to women working for his Department?

Mr. FORSTER

The rates of wages of the women in the employ of the Army Ordnance Department, Dublin, have recently been the subject of an arbitration award. Other cases are being considered.
