HC Deb 21 March 1918 vol 104 cc1201-2W
Mr. MURRAY MACDONALD

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether the War Office proposes to take immediate possession of a considerable portion of the offices of the district committee at Hamilton; whether he is aware that there is ample accommodation elsewhere in Hamilton, and that in particular there are huts previously occupied in the barracks, fifty-six vacant houses in the town, and that there is also Hamilton Palace; and whether he will reconsider the question before putting the district committee to the inconvenience of removing their staff from their offices?

Mr. MACPHERSON

Inquiries are being made with regard to this matter, and I will communicate with my hon. Friend later.
