HC Deb 21 March 1918 vol 104 c1193W
Colonel THORNE

asked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether his attention has been drawn to a petition signed by 195 working-men residents of Teddington in favour of facilities being granted for allotments in the paddocks at Teddington and Hampton Wick; whether ho is aware that if these facilities can be granted the allotments will be within easy reach of the petitioners and that every advantage will be taken to produce foodstuffs; and whether he will take whatever stops are necessary to grant the petition?

Mr. PROTHERO

The Board are aware of the demand for allotments in the localities referred to, and arrangements have been made for sufficient suitable land for the purpose in Bushey Park.
