§ Mr. CLYNESThere have undoubtedly been defects in the grading system, and complaints made as to grading of cattle 2001W have been brought to the notice of the committees concerned. The Ministry of Food in consultation with representatives of agricultural and other interests is at present considering the introduction of the sale of cattle by dead weight, a system which would be free from the objections made to the grading system.
