Mr. E. HARVEYasked the First Lord of the Admiralty what steps have been taken to provide opportunities for leave to the motor patrol boat engineers who have been serving in the Eastern Mediterranean for unbroken periods of eighteen months and over; and whether, in view of the physical strain involved in the nature of the work, some special effort will be made to arrange to relieve men who have served for this period without relief?
§ Dr. MACNAMARAI am afraid I can add nothing to the answer I gave my hon. Friend on 19th November, except to say that we are doing, and shall continue to do, our best to relieve the men who have been longest abroad.
