HC Deb 14 February 1918 vol 103 cc282-3W
Mr. CHANCELLOR

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether the preference of 5s. 3d. per quarter given to brewers over millers in purchasing barley which prevents the best quality from being used in bread and ensures it being used in beer is still continued, or whether the reconsideration. promised to the hon. Member for Haggerston has been given to this subject; and, if so, with what result?

Mr. CLYNES
