§ Mr. ROWNTREEasked the Pensions Minister whether he has received a resolution from the York City Council asking that the administrative expenses of the local naval and military war pensions, etc., committees may be borne wholly by State funds, and not as at present (as to two-thirds by State funds and one-third by the local authority); and what action he proposes to take in the matter?
§ Mr. HODGEI have received the resolution to which the hon. Member refers and similar resolutions from a number of local war pensions committees. The matter is under consideration in connection with a Bill of the introduction of which I have already given notice.
