§ Mr. WILKIEasked the Secretary for Scotland whether he has received a petition from the prison officers asking for concessions in the matter of pay and allowances to meet the increased cost of living; and whether he will give the petition favourable consideration?
§ Mr. MUNROA petition has been received. I am not in a position at present to make any further statement except that the petition will receive my consideration in consultation with the Prisor Commissioners for Scotland, the Treasury, and other authorities interested.
